Four Wheeled Deaf Gypsy

Friday, February 17th, 2006

So anyway. Much like the overflowing-sewerage incident last year, you don’t often realise how important the simple things are until you don’t have them any more. Like, having a place to sleep for example.

I’ve always viewed my home as the place I go when I don’t have anything else to do. And since I’m very good at devoting excessive time and energy to the things I love in order to forget about the things I hate, spending time at home is not something I do often. Unless it involves writing music, but double-yay-factor; I’m studio-less at the moment too.

It’s a little late, but late is better than never; resolutions for the new year include: sleep lots, take nothing for granted, stop dreaming and start doing.

Triple yay score: I borrowed a four wheeled vehicle to assist in the whole moving house thing. I can’t really deny it, this vehicle can only be described as an “SUV”. The whole exercise has been horrifying to say the least. Bring back the emission-reductionist ™.

Evergreen :: Hype Begins Now

Tuesday, February 7th, 2006

In typical (minimal) Web 2.0 style I am making a blog post about an extremely vague and ill-definied “thing” in the hopes that it will create a large wave of internet hype & curiosity.

So. Tell all your friends.

That is all. :)

New King In Town

Wednesday, February 1st, 2006

Plan to axe cars from city centre.

Like it or not, the car can no longer be king in Melbourne.

This is the most heart warming article I’ve read all week.

Back to the Old Skool

Wednesday, February 1st, 2006

I completely agree, Bring back the year 2000.

Web 2.0 is cool and all, but remember when this stuff was so hot right now?:

Oh the nostalgia.
