Don’t Smother Your Kids

“Nobody is themselves when they start dating. Dating is just acting like you’re somebody you’re not until the person likes you enough so you can show ‘em who you really are.” – JD (Scrubs)

Unless they happen to find your weblog first. :\

I think I’ve been watching Scrubs way too much. I’ve unintentionally started using quotes from the show in general discussion. I wonder how hard it would be to hold and entire conversation with someone using only quotes from the show.

Anyway, Jen is playing at The Corner Hotel this Friday. Everyone should see her play at least once.

Karl goes overseas on Saturday. I’m going to miss him. Don’t tell him though. The good news is that my radio show is moving to 6:30pm on Mondays while he’s gone. A much more sensible time. It will be good to have my weekends back.

Today I reached a small by mildly significant milestone. I celebrated tonight with some friends (unbeknownst to them) over Soupy noodles, Ice-cream & some 8 ball.

Life is mostly good. :)

Congrats on the new timeslot! Hope the audience adores you so the station makes it a permanent move.

Hey, great news … what station? You manage to keep these things relatively quiet, don’t you?!
