DANCING With The Stars presenter Sonia Kruger is in hot water after making derogatory comments about a “sweat shop of illegal immigrants” slaving away on her wardrobe for the Melbourne Cup Carnival.

Kruger, 43, made the comments during the celebrity reality show last Sunday after co-host Daniel MacPherson asked about the bevy of outfits the star would require for her four day stint covering the racing carnival for Channel 7.

“Lets just say there is a sweat shop full of illegal immigrants working on them right now,” Kruger said before referring to the show’s Malaysian born musical director Chong Lim.

“How is the family Chong? Alright?”

Issue 4 of OneMag (web site out of date) is out now. It has one/some of my photos in it apparently (I haven’t seen it yet). It’s available at all good bike stores.
Despite my name being omitted from the advertised line-up I will be playing at Kiss My Grass 2008 at the Sidney Myer Music Bowl on Saturday Jan 26. Come along for a fun day in the sun!

The airlines have been canceling flights because of the snow and ice. I’m marginally concerned that I won’t make my connecting flight in L.A. The guy at the check-in desk told me to expect delays.

In room 10 at SXSW. The guy sitting in front of me just leaned sideways, raised his left butt cheek a few inches off the chair and let out an extremely vigorous and loud fart.

Being in a room full of geeks is often inspiring but sometimes a little dangerous.

Edit: 2 minutes later. He just did it again. God bless America.

Re-Edit: 3rd time. Joy. I just let out a very loud “ahem” and left to find another seat. I don’t think he got it.
